What to read while I earn double pay

For the Fourth of July: U-S-A! U-S-A! U! S! A!

Last week was female tennis players we used to emulate .. this week the men:

Gustavo Kuerten -- a personal favorite, though his one hander was tough when you had an ugly two handed backhand. The Brazilian captured our hearts at the French, but it was his serve style and grunting that made him so fun to emulate.

Boris Becker -- Just watch him serve and you know why he was so fun to pretend to be.

Pete Sampras -- So easy to pretend to be. Serve was easy to emulate (well to look like it, not hit like him), you just attack net, and if you are receiving you just chip and charge no matter what. Bonus points for wiping sweat off your eyebrow with one finger.

Goran Ivanišević -- he was a lefty so that was hard, but you could basically go crazy and talk to the ball the whole time, which was fun in public areas.

Petr Korda -- we called him Woodstock because he looked like the Peanuts character. He was fun to play as because whenever you won a point you could jump up in the air with his patented scissor kick celebration. Bonus points for denying steroid use and switching players when you get "suspended" from the game.

Jim Courier -- Only thing fun was the forehand when you took it back with two hands. Boring guy unless you tried to give a victory speech in French.

Ok, the men were super boring compared to the women to emulate .. except for Kuerten. The women you could mock all-around and have fun, while the guys were fun for a particular shot or between point action.

I am off to work on the 4th, but you have a wonderful day. That is singular you for the one person reading this. You.

Don't forget the "sorry Mate" a la Patrick Rafter when catching a bad ball toss
