One of my favorite things during the winter is the dryer. What I like to do is fiftenn minutes before bed I put my comforter in the dryer. That way it is super hot when I go to bed. I know it is probably a giant wast of electricity, but I am cold and don't care. Besides, my apartment is only at like 65 to save on electricity so I think I am still doing well on the saving of electricity.
This also works with clothing. Shirts, sweatshirts, pants, socks ... underwear. Nothing is quite as nice as fresh from the dryer warmness on a cold night or morning. Speaking of... my dryer just finished. Night.

It works best for towels. If you can get a warm towel for after a shower, you'll never want to go back.
