The worst part of vacations is coming back from them. It is almost tortuous to return from somewhere warm to somewhere cold. From having all the free time in the world to deadlines and stress. From being able to nap like a cat to futile attempts at staying awake.
I know it is a lame thing to rant about because ... I was on vacation and I shouldn't complain. But trust me, it is much less self-absorbed and whiny as what I wrote and deleted before this. Consider yourself lucky (and a sliver of my dignity spared).
