Normally the rain kind of makes me mad. I know we need it and it is essential, but it always gets in the way of what I want to do. Like ... not get rained on.
However, today is a rave and I will rave for the rain. Nothing is better than going for a run in the rain when it is warmish outside. Nothing is quite as nice as the smell of a spring morning right after the rain. Nothing is quite as soothing to fall asleep to as the sound of a steady rain.
I also like when the phrase "April showers brings May flowers" actually works in April. Makes me hopeful for May.
