Hey NBA officials. You need to stop being idiots. I don't necessarily want the game to go back to the Pat Riley Knicks' style, but allow some stuff.
What finally truly got me mad was the flagrant foul called on Anthony Johnson. He was fouled by Mo Williams as he drove to the basket. As contact was made, Johnson went to try and shoot, meaning he had to square himself to the goal a little. Therefore, his elbow struck the defender in the face. A defender who was called for a blocking foul mind you.
Play is at the 45 second mark or so...
This contact evidently warranted a flagrant 1 foul. Well, at first it was a flagrant 2 foul, which is an automatic ejection, but they changed their minds.
Are you out of your minds? If a defender gets too close and gets hit in the head with an elbow on a normal basketball play, guess whose fault that is? The defenders.
The cleaned up game is prettier and more points are scored, but use some common sense every now and then.
