Finally Friday

Today I have two little goodies for you. Both are musical like Seussical (that is a real thing and I bet it is awesome.

First, the musician (? I do not know what to call him .. artist?) Girl Talk dropped (aren't I hip to the lingo?) a new album. Name your price, free and up, and download it here. Link is from the record label so it is a legit online release (both links take you somewhere you can "buy" the album). Currently the album "Feed the Animals" is on repeat on my iPod.

Secondly, today's topic of discussion is songs I am most likely to go hoarse singing along with in my car. As friends can attest, I am one of the worst singers in the world. This does absolutely nothing to keep me from singing at all times ... especially when driving. Here is the top ten songs, in reverse order, that I love to sing along with:
10. "Kate" by Ben Folds Five
9. "Fuck Her Gently" by Tenacious D
8. "Gone" by *NSYNC
7. "It's All Coming Back to Me" by Celine Dion
6. "Dick in a Box" by Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake
5. "First of May" by Jonathan Coulton
4. "Pencils in the Wind" (also known as "Sellotape") by Flight of the Conchords (the standup version, not the show version)
3. "Total Eclipse of the Heart" be The Dan Band (their version that is)
2. "Poison" by Bel Biv Devoe
1. "Hold On" by Wilson Phillips ... for an added fun bonus the drum solo is freaking amazing to rock out to, alone or with a friend

Watching the video tells me I have incorporated the perfect facial expressions into this beautiful song with a positive message...

Sidenote... Wilson Phillips, according to wikipedia is kinda hot now:
