"Death is an endless night so awful to contemplate that it can make us love life and value it with such passion that it may be the ultimate cause of all joy and all art."
The link of the week is one of my favorite comics to check. It is Garfield Minus Garfield, and paints a sad, lonely life for Jon Arbuckle. Well, you know ... sadder and lonelier than Jim Davis already makes Jon's life seem. Check it out for a good laugh. Here is the creator's description:
"Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness in a quiet American suburb."
The game of the week this week is Yeti Sports Penguin Smash. This oldie, but goody is highly addicting and was a contributing cause to my being a major lame-o parts of freshman year at college.
The picture of the week is one of those fake inspiration posters. However, it cracks me up .. enjoy:
The video of the week this week is a sexual harassment training video. Much like R. Kelly, this video is not suitable around small children. You will have to sit through a commercial probably as well. It is well worth the wait. This was highly quoted in my apartment sophomore year. Sexual Harassment Training Film
