I love you, always forever

I find I rarely cheer for full on teams in sports anymore, but rather for or against certain athletes. I don't watch sports as often anymore, so this list is much smaller than it would have been a few years ago and only involves three sports.

All-Time Top 10 Most Despised Athletes (team they played on when I most hated him)

1. John Elway, QB, Denver Broncos - so vastly overrated it isn't funny. Career QB Rating: 79.9
2. Warren Sapp, DL, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - ran his mouth and was a cheap shot artist
3. Karl Malone, PF, Utah Jazz - Dirty player who also happened to be an idiot
4. Roger Clemens, P, New York Yankees - arrogant ass and I hope he ends up in jail and not Bonds
5. Shaquille O'Neal, C, Entire Career - not skilled, not funny, and a complete idiot
6. Bill Romanowski, LB, Denver Broncos - a horrible human being
7. John Rocker, P, Atlanta Braves - just wow
8. Michael Irvin, WR, Dallas Cowboys - I hated all those Cowboys teams only because of him
9. Shannon Sharpe, TE, Broncos - more annoying as a player than commentator, and he is really annoying as a commentator
10. Bill Laimbeer C, Detroit Pistons - just a miserable human being
    

Today's athletes I always cheer against in the NBA and NFL:

NBA

• Carmelo Anthony - Too pouty early in NBA career
• Carlos Boozer - Dicked over his blind owner
• Vince Carter - Attitude
• Adam Morrison - Chews tobacco
  
• Josh McRoberts - How is he even in the NBA?
• Shaquille O'Neal - Annoying
• Chris Paul - Nut puncher
• Zach Randolph - Same reason everyone else dislikes him
• Eric Snow - Would rather lose and score a lot than win and not score
• Ben Wallace - Way overrated, not his fault
• Hakim Warrick - Goes back to his college days

NFL

• Jake Delhomme - I blame this on Carolina fans
• Chris Henry - Moron
• DeSean Jackson - Dropping the ball before crossing the endzone
• Chad Johnson - You lost me the past few years
• Larry Johnson - Hits women in his spare time ... a lot
• Eli Manning - Vastly overrated whiner
• Donovan McNabb - Baby and choke artist
• Dan Orlovsky - Dude ran out of the back of endzone and didn't even know
• Tony Romo - Too much of a circus
• Jeremy Shockey - There is a reason your teams do better without you
• Kellen Winslow Jr. - He's a soldier

Tennis (I will limit this severely)

• Lindsey Davenport - pumpkin head
• Lleyton Hewitt - many reasons, most notable: once blamed being called for multiple foot faults (something he is notorious for) on the fact that the official and his opponant were black
• Dinara Safina - shockingly, her brother is awesome
• Patty Schnyder - Ugh
