I will probably leave off obvious athletes that everyone seems to like or at least respect. I want to create a little surprise in my choices. I also made it a rule, I can only have athletes on that I was old enough to remember watching while they still played (sorry Ali).

- Gustavo Kuerton - One of the best personalities and people in tennis history
- Goran Ivanišević - I honestly almost cried when he won Wimbledon
- Grant Hill - Such a class act and amazing all-around player
- Derrick Thomas - Such an amazing football player who died too young
- George Brett - Mr. Kansas City
- Jerry Rice - Just a phenomenally gifted and hard working individual
- Ken Griffey, Jr - No athlete has ever appeared so smooth and effortless
- Michael Johnson - 1996 Olympics. Simply breathtaking.
- Ron Francis - Class act and underrated hockey player
- Greg Oden - Cracks me up and plays the piano
- Scottie Pippen - I liked him better than Jordan
- Hakeem Olajuwon - The dream shake is the best move of all-time
- Dennis Rodman - Clinically insane, but no one worked harder
- Jason Williams - This kid was so much fun to watch back with the Kings
- Vlade Divac - So amazingly unique, he just makes me laugh

- Ray Lewis - This took awhile after the whole "incident" but he is a phenomenal leader and amazing at the game

- Priest Holmes - So sick before his injuries
- Ricky Williams - I feel like Ricky is a lot smarter than a lot of people
- Barry Sanders - Obviously amazing on horrible teams, walked away when he could still walk and never came back
- Robert Smith - Classy and very intelligent football player
- Randy Moss - He's a freak and I like it
- Christian Okoye - Nigerian Nightmare, just bull rushed people
- Anna Kournikova - Take away the looks and she was a #1 doubles player and on the brink of a huge breakthrough when the injuries hit
- Tim Henmen - I lived and died with Tim every Wimbledon
- Marcos Baghdatis -Needs to reclaim the beard though

- Jorge Campos - So skilled as a keeper

Rex Chapman. Tell me you didn't try and re-enact that shot over and over. After that, I was in love. Also, J-Kidd in Phoenix, and Penny in Orlando.
JKidd beats women, I enjoyed Lil' Penny more than the real Penny, and Rex Chapman ... I heard too many things about him from his UK days to like him
Well, that's why I said JKidd in Phoenix, I was not in tune with his home life at that time, and only knew he was from the bay and really fun to watch. I'm thinking about the people at the time, not how I see them now.
Understandable. My point are these people still make me smile. Sadly, J Kidd does not.
Nationals does make me smile. And World Champion.
