Wasting all my time ... time is money, let's waste a little more

Say what you will about the economy being down, at least it forces law makers to look at the practicality of certain things. I personally believe it should not take an economic meltdown to change this policy, but if that is what it takes then that is what it takes.

What am I talking about? The banning of the Death Penalty of course.

Maybe now we can stimulate the economy by decriminalizing marijuana. Save the money from the complete failure that is the "War on Drugs", unclog our crowded prison system of nonviolent criminals, and regulate and tax the sale of marijuana in America. Imagine the money that will let flow. If cigarettes and alcohol are legal, why isn't weed?

I agree, but damn if it isn't sad that the reason we consider not putting people to death is because it is cheaper.

You would think we wouldn't need to bring money into the equation, but as long as it gets done I am happy. I think it is such a controversial issue, it just needed something non-controversial to spur the change so people cannot get as angry.

Spoken like a true stoner. I really don't know why they aren't legalizing it. Bushy boy did coke, and im pretty sure that is a step or two above the green.

Yup that's me, the "true stoner" that doesn't smoke weed.

Regardless, the laws don't make sense, can be seen as racist, and are outdated.
