I have never understood fireworks. The go boom. Make colors. And everyone goes "ooh" and "ahh". Why? Once you've seen 5 minutes of a show you have seen all that is good about fireworks ever.
People go nuts over them and I am not sure why. People even go so far as to watch them on television... which just baffles me. I can at least understand going to a fireworks show with friends or what have you, but tv? Watch something entertaining.
Now lighting your own fireworks and running away after they are lit like a scared girl so you don't blow your hand/face off ... entertainment. Watching a professional display of fireworks ... boring.
