Are you the proudest American there is? America #1? Then go show how proud you are by voting. Are you an American citizen completely disgusted by the direction America is heading? Think we have hit our empire's fall? Then go vote and try to make a change. Somewhere in between? VOTE.
If you don't vote I don't want to hear you complain about anything. If your person wins and something he promised to do backfires and fails ... don't complain either. They promised they would do that thing ... it just did not work. You can only complain if your person loses and the winner's policies end up being terrible or if you vote for a candidate and they end up not doing anything they promised.
However no one is allowed to complain until the president-elect has become president and actually starts doing anything. Even then ... wait and see some tangible effects. I cannot wait until November 5th and people shut up about election politics for a while.
I know this is a lame post, but if you are reading this go vote. If you are undecided ... look at the issues. VoteGopher seems unbiased (but I didn't check it out too much). Figure out who you agree with more. Vote for that person.
Holy crap on a crap cracker I have the day off. Things to do:
1) VOTE
2) Realize gas is cheap and drive to Lexington
3) Enjoy a ridiculous looking cookie desert thing
4) Watch a crazy dog at a dog park
5) See a friend I haven't seen in too long
6) Come home
7) Relax a little
