That was one of the most boring Derby's of all time. No drama. No real race. Just muddy slop and a complete unknown being the only one to handle it well.
How disappointing.
Almost as disappointing as going out to the bars and people watching afterward. Honestly, I have never seen so many skanky looking girls and meathead/douchey looking guys in my life.
Overall a good day, though. Just a boring race and gross strangers. Had fun with friends and that is all that really counts in the end. But sometimes I wonder about my generation.
